Our first night of College for the Spring of 2009 was great! We had 19 in attendance with promise of more. This semesters lectures on Justification and Apologetics complete a two semester study on the subjects. A hearty thanks to Emmanuel Baptist for funding student books once again. Your generosity is appreciated by faculty and students alike.
The beauty of a Bible college like this one, is that you are expected to read your Bible. Does that sound odd? It shouldn't, but it does. Many so-called Bible colleges have no requirement that the student ever read through the Bible during their enrollment. Some offer it as an option. Here, it is required that every year, the Bible be read through at least once. Added to the fact that students are studying various portions of scripture for homework and papers, one can imagine the saturation of the word during a single semester.
Did you miss the first class? No problem! Each Thursday night at 7:00 we meet at the church, so plan to be there next week, and we will help you catch up on what you missed.
